Kathryn M. Fox is an attorney at law and a resident of Bakersfield since 1981. She is a partner in the law firm of Perlman Fox, LLP, practicing real property, contract and all aspects of labor and employment law. "Of counsel" to Chain, Younger, Cohn & Stiles since 1998, she also provides legal services to their Bankruptcy Department. Kathryn has been admitted to practice before all courts in California, including the Eastern District Federal Court, the Fifth Appellate District Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of California. She also serves as a Small Claims Judge Pro Tem.
An alumni of Bakersfield's local accredited law school, California Pacific School of Law, she was selected to participate in 1997 as a member of the statewide California Roger J. Traynor Moot Court competition. Her undergraduate studies were in Ornamental Horticulture.
Kathryn is a member of the Kern County Bar Association, as well as the Kern County Women Lawyer's Association. Since 1999, she has been a mentor in the Volunteers In Parole program for Kern County, and was selected as the outstanding mentor match for 2000. As a graduate of the Pepperdine University School of Law Strauss Institute for Dispute Resolution, Kathryn sits as a member of the Kern County Superior Court ADR panel.
A California native, Kathryn lives in Bakersfield with her husband, Larry.
