Maureen Buscher-Dang joined our legal team in 1991 as the marketing director and director of Group Law Services. A fourth generation Kern County native, Maureen graduated from Bakersfield High School in 1976. She received a B.S. in Marketing from California State University Bakersfield in 1984, and has specialized in marketing research and services marketing since that time. Maureen is also a graduate of the charter class of Leadership Bakersfield 1987-1988.
As Director of Group Law Services, Maureen is responsible for customer service to approximately 180,000 group members. She frequently acts as a client liaison.
As Marketing Director, Maureen is responsible for all aspects of marketing, advertising and public relations. She particularly enjoys researching, writing and producing Chain-Younger's television commercials aired on local stations.
Maureen is a past chairperson and sits on the executive board for Options Unlimited, The Bakersfield Women's' Business Conference. She was instrumental in the creation of the First Women of Kern website. She also produces commercials and works on the marketing committee for the Bakersfield Symphony Orchestra. She is a board member for the Tree Foundation of Kern. Maureen is involved in most of Mr. Younger's philanthropic and political projects. Maureen is married to Alex Dang and is the mother of two musically inclined daughters. Together, they enjoy volunteering for the West High Viking Regiment Band and Thompson Jr. High Timberwolves Band.
